Sometimes breastfeeding is harder than we expect it to be — I’m here to help with that in a calm and supportive way. It’s OK to be emotional about it.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Appointments typically last 60-90 minutes and may include:
Discussing your baby’s birth
Observing a full feeding
Breast assessment
Assistance with latching and positioning
Evaluation of feeding and troubleshooting difficulties
Assessment of supply issues
Oral evaluation of baby
Evaluation of milk transfer
Flange fitting and pumping strategies
Identifying feeding goals
Individualized care plan to help you meet your goals.
WHERE WILL MY APPOINTMENT BE?
Most of my appointments are in-office. Occasionally I offer telehealth if your insurance permits it. My office space is located at 129 Executive Drive, in Madison. Come in the front doors of the building; my office is the first door on the right, in front of the stairs. Come in the small waiting room.
I am not offering home visits at this time.
WHAT ABOUT PAYMENT?
Insurance — Your insurance may cover your lactation visits at no cost to you, either through Wildflower (for Cigna plans) or The Lactation Network. Both cover 6+ lactation visits at no cost to you.

Self Pay — $125 initial visit; $100 follow up visits. Cash/Venmo due at the end of the visit. Superbills can be provided to submit to insurance for reimbursement; however, this is not a guarantee of reimbursement.
FSA/HSA Cards — I can accept your FSA or HSA card at the self-pay rates.
Medicaid — Discounted rates for Medicaid: $25 initial visit; $20 follow up visits. Cash/Venmo due at the end of the visit.
Tricare — Because I grew up as the child of a US Navy service member, and was also a US Navy spouse for 13 years, I have a special place in my heart for those who serve our country. I offer a reduced rate for Tricare clients of $50 initial visit; $25 follow up visits.
