Lactation Support
Skilled, nurturing IBCLC support.
Gentle, nonjudgmental, patient, and encouraging help to feed your baby.
Sometimes breastfeeding is harder than we expect it to be — I’m here to help with that in a calm and supportive way. It’s OK to be emotional about it.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Appointments typically last 60-90 minutes and may include:
Observing a full feeding
Breast assessment
Assistance with latching and positioning
Evaluation of feeding and troubleshooting difficulties
Assessment of supply issues
Evaluation of milk transfer
Flange fitting and pumping strategies
Identifying feeding goals
Individualized care plan to help you meet your goals.
WHERE WILL MY APPOINTMENT BE?
Most of my appointments are in-office. Occasionally I offer home visits or telehealth. My office space is located at 401 Baptist Drive, Suite 301A, in Madison (in the Baptist building near the Healthplex and Starbucks).
For home visits: I do not expect a perfect house and pajamas are fine!
